You are never a cash investor in any of the horses, so if any of them have a long term injury and are out of action you will not be out of pocket and with nothing to show for you money. (Unlike other Syndicates where you own the horse and will either lose money when its bloodstock value drops or just never see your horse on the track if a long term injury was to occur.
