By Car
From the West:
M74 leave at Junction 5, at the roundabout take the Hamilton exit and follow brown signs.
From the East
M8/A8 leave at Bellshill/East Kilbride exit A725. Follow signs to M74. At the roundabout (junction 5 of the M74) take the Hamilton exit and follow brown signs.
By Train
Hamilton West is the nearest trains station located about 15 minutes walk from the racecourse.
By Plane
Hamilton Park is easily accessed from the three airports with Glasgow International and Prestwick based in the West and Edinburgh Airport in the East.
Travel Directions & Parking
Hamilton Park is easy to get to with excellent road networks providing easy access from the M74 and M8 motorways. Car Parking is free in the Grandstand enclosure, but please remember to leave plenty of time when planning your journey as the routes around the racecourse can become very busy in the lead up to gates opening and the first race. It is always better to come early and enjoy a drink at the bar then be stuck in the traffic missing the hot tip in the first race!
You can’ t fail to enjoy the action and excitement of a day at the races when you visit Hamilton Park. With two enclosures, both offering track side viewing, you can watch as the horses race past you on their way to the winning post. They are so close you can nearly touch them!
